David A. Golden
Board Member
Board Member David Golden currently serves as CEO of East Tennessee State University’s Research Corporation. In addition, he holds the Allen and Ruth Harris Chair of Excellence in Business and is a Professor of Practice at East Tennessee University College of Business & Technology.
Previously, he held the positions of Senior VP, Chief Legal & Sustainability Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Eastman Chemical Company, Kingsport, Tennessee. His overall responsibilities included Eastman's Legal, Corporate HSES, Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology, Sustainability, Government Relations, Aviation Services, Communications, Community Affairs. He managed a $100 million budget and oversaw the International Trade Compliance functions, with more than 400 team members in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America
He has served as a state and local community leader and currently serves on numerous boards in advisory and leadership positions. Mr. Golden attended the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School, which is a selective Executive Education program for high-level executives. In addition, he holds a Juris Doctorate from BYU Law School and Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.
